Acne

What is acne? Acne is inflammation of the pilosebaceous glands of the skin that causes clogging of the pores and the appearance of different skin lesions.
Acne is very common in adolescents, but can occur in both sexes and at all ages.



It seems that there is a familial tendency to develop acne. Usually begins at puberty and may continue over many years. Three out of four teenagers have acne to some extent, probably caused by hormonal changes that stimulate the sebaceous glands produce fat. Other hormonal changes such as those occurring during menstruation or pregnancy, and those produced by the use of pills of birth control or stress also aggravate acne.

Symptoms Lesion or rash on the face, chest, neck, back, or other area.
-Comedones (or pimples).
-Pustules.
-Cysts.
-Papules.
-Nodules.
-Redness (erythema) of the skin around the lesions.
-Swelling around eruptions. -Embedding skin rashes.
-Skin scar.

There are treatments that can decrease domestic effects of acne:

-Clean the skin gently but thoroughly with soap and water, removing all dirt or makeup. The washed as often as required controls oil. You have to do at least daily and after exercise. Use a clean cloth every day to prevent infection.
-Steam or warm moist compresses to open clogged pores.
-Wash hair with shampoo at least twice a week and using an antidandruff shampoo if required.
-Combing her hair back to keep the face clear.
-Use local astringent to remove excess oil.
-Do not rub, touch or rub the injury. These actions can increase skin damage.
-Wash hands before and after caring for your injuries to reduce the risk of infection.
-Do not put your face on your hands. This can irritate the skin of the face.
-Identify and avoid anything that aggravates acne. This care includes meals, lotions, makeup, etc.. Avoid greasy cosmetics or creams, which can aggravate acne.
-Acne often improves in summer. There are even foods that aggravate acne, which can be tolerated in summer but not in winter.
